Where are private keys stored?

Privy uses Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) with distributed key sharding to protect your assets.
  • Keys are only stored as encrypted shares distributed across separate security boundaries.
  • Keys are only temporarily reconstructed within trusted execution environments when needed for specific operations, under the wallet owner’s control.
Privy’s wallet infrastructure is designed so that the only place a full private key ever exists is inside a secure enclave. For more information, see.

How do I deposit?

Docent supports depositing USDC on Hyperliquid, Base and Arbitrum.

How do I withdraw?

Within the Docent mobile app, you can use the Send feature to send USDC to your withdrawal address.

What fees are collected on trades?

Docent charges a small fee of 0.05% on perpetual futures trades. There are no fees charged on spot or prediction market trades.

Can I use Docent with my own AI agent or trading bot?

Yes. Docent has a REST API that lets AI agents and bots trade programmatically on Hyperliquid and Polymarket. Each API account gets its own non-custodial wallet. See the API for agents page for details or jump straight to the API quickstart.

I deposited funds on the wrong network. Is recovery possible?

Funds sent on an unsupported network are not credited. You may export your private key via account settings and attempt recovery through an external wallet at your own risk.

I sent funds to the wrong deposit address. Can they be recovered?

Funds sent to an incorrect address cannot be recovered by us.

How can I export my private key?

You can export your private key from within the mobile app. Keep it private. Never share it with anyone.
Docent will never ask you to send your private key to support or to another user.
